The XIX Regional Creative Camp of Young and Adolescent Painters “Volga painter”

The creative camp "Volga painter" is the heritage and pride of Ivanovo region, the hope and the prospect for nourishing gifted children.

For more than 19 years of the camp existence its own traditions have developed, they are maintained by all participants – both young and grown-ups – as well as the atmosphere of fraternity, equality and inspiration.

The unique feature of the community is that at the camp schoolchildren and students make sketches alongside with venerable artists – their schoolmasters, teachers of schools and colleges.

An inextricable link is formed in the system of art education – from master to apprentice, from the younger one to the older and back.

The funds for the event are provided by the state programme "The Development of education in Ivanovo region".

The main goal is to identify, support, professionally teach artistically gifted children and youth, create conditions that facilitate the realization of their creativity and artistic ideas as well as active summer holiday.
